Today we’re announcing the launch of empiriQa, a deep-tech spin-off dedicated to safeguarding our digital world against the upcoming quantum revolution.
Why does this matter? The machines of tomorrow will soon be able to break virtually all current encryption. Once sufficiently powerful quantum machines arrive, much of the encryption that protects our communications, infrastructure, and digital identities can become vulnerable. At empiriQa, we aren’t just preparing for that future; we are securing it today using the fundamental laws of physics.
What we deliver:
✔️ Two decades of specialization in QKD – commercializing 20 years of research from Single Photon Applications Laboratory @ NCU in Torun led by Prof. Piotr Kolenderski.
